Visiting the island of Bozcaada

So we take a nice ferry to Geyikil (a tiny port just south of the entrance of the Straits of the Dardanelles, that starts off on the ships to arrive in Istanbul) and disembark in the port of Bozcaada, a small island in the mysterious north Aegean.

After verifying the geographical coordination see if in fact there is some reason to get there, the island boasts a beautiful castle, pretty impressive for the extension of the dry land in question. There are also many wineries where you can taste and buy the local wine. There are no shortage religious buildings, such as the monastery of Ayazma, scenic spots like; Goztepe with its 192 meters making it the highest point on the island.

To take advantage of the wind in Bozcaada many wind turbines were installed in the island at a point without completion of housing and lighting, which at nightfall are lit only by the dim light of the old lighthouse: a particular show worthy they visit. An essential finale for the tour is the many beaches that dot the coastline of the island.
