San Francisco | Painted Ladies Victorian houses in Haight Ashbury

Haight Ashbury is one of the most interesting districts of San Francisco you can visit on your trip to the west coast of the United States. Located on the high part of the city north of Market Street and Barrio Castro neighborhood and near the Golden Gate Park, the district reached its fame to be the center of the hippie movement in the 60s. Currently the Haight Ashbury maintains a bohemian style in its streets typical of a European city with Arab restaurants and cafes, designer shops and clothing stores with hippie style.
