Springfield is a city especially known for its university. There you will find a building that houses five museums in one, the Quadrangle, which is home to many types of objects and various exhibitions from guns to cars. You have the chance to book group tours too.

Throughout the rest of the state, you may not find many attractions but the beautiful landscape will make up for that: to Edgartown you can easily get to the lighthouse in a truly romantic setting and,  on the other hand, in Provincetown and Gloucester you can find many beaches with the first being mainly of the sandy type while on the second one the seafront is rocky. Do not miss the Nantucket Whaling Museum, a museum dedicated entirely to large marine mammals.  In Salem you should visit the Salem Witch Walk and take a charming walk in a neighborhood that is completely dedicated to the witches.
