One of the most interesting visits you can do on your trip to New York on the east coast of the United States is to enter the neighborhood of Harlem, to deepen your knowledge on the culture of the black community center in Manhattan. Located north of the island of Manhattan from Central Park, we have 5 tips that may help you if you decide to visit Harlem in New York.

1. The biggest draw you have for visitting this popular neighborhood is attending a gospel mass. For this you can go on your own to one of the Baptist churches where every Sunday is celebrated this religious meeting in an environment with traditional choral music.

2. In order to choose the right temple you’ll need list which will be helpful for churches with schedules to attend a gospel church in New York.

3. If your planned stay in New York does not match a Sunday, there are some churches where you can attend a gospel mass on Wednesdays. It is another option you can consider.

4. If you find it difficult to decide to go on your own to Harlem there’s the option and it would be appropriate then to join one of the tours organized by travel agencies to go to gospel mass. This tour includes some of the highlights of that neighborhood.
