Romanians come here to jog, to walk on foot, by bike and with their dogs or even just to eat something in one of the many kiosks are present.

National Village Museum

A museum very original, fully open within the park Herăstrău. It is one of the places most worth seeing in Bucharest: the museum seeks to rebuild the country life in Romania between the 600 and the 900. Periodically, the museum houses Romanian artisans to showcase their works.

Caru Cu Bere

It’s the place to go to in Bucharest: a restaurant and a pub where you can eat, drink and attend performances of true professionals. The environment is quiet and friendly, the atmosphere fills you with joy and happiness, but above all you eat well and cheaply. Reserving a spot is more that reccomended!

What to avoid and things to watch out for

Houses of Parliament

It was built under the Ceausescu dictatorship and, after the Pentagon, is the second largest building in the world. A lot of people consider it to be just a grey building away from the city center. You could pay it a visit if you have plenty of time available, otherwise it is better to focus on all the other activities that this Romanian city has to offer.

Navigation

First of all, avoid getting lost, which unfortunately happens to most tourists, and more than once to be exact.

Taxi

You should watch out because, even though that as a rule are very cheap, you have to be careful about which taxi you take. There are the official ones that come at a reasonable price, while others are trying to get you to spend as much as possible.

Where to stay?

The closer to the center as possible as it convenient to go to any attraction in Bucharest.
